Happy Father's Day!

I know, it's a bit early...but if I don't say it now, I'll get busy and it will be August before I say it.
Even though I'm Mr. Independent and am anxious to explore the world...I'm still happiest when I know my Daddy is nearby to catch me if (ok, when) I fall and has my back if (ok, when) I start a fight I can't finish (er uh...well he's actually there to help resolve the fight and then to teach me to not start the fight in the first place but "has my back" sounds cooler, more manly). Happy Father's Day Daddy (and Papa, Gramps, Great-Gramps, Opa, Uncle Todd, Tate and Mark and all of you other Daddies close to my heart!)

Doodles & Hen

The good news: Grace's Daddy, my Uncle Mark, will be home from Iraq soon.
The bad news: Grace and Auntie Tami will be moving far away. ;-(

"Doodles, I'm going to miss you. Hmmm. Yes, I'm going to miss you too, Hen."

Let the fun begin....

My daddy finished building my play yard and Mama decked it out with some cool toys so now we're in business. My cousin and partner in crime, Grace (aka Doodles) helped me break it in!

Isn't she adorable?

Could she get any cuter? A barely audible "uh oh" accompanied this look while starting to slide! Tee hee!

Back Yard

Hmmm....what to do with a dull uneven back yard?...I know...build your adorable son a play area so that you *might* get a chance to do a little gardening! Oh...yeah...be sure to enlist his help...we little guys are quite helpful!

Meeting Oma & Opa

June 1st I met my Great Oma & Opa! Their plans to be in Maine for Opa's high school reunion were made before we even lived here...how fortunate is that?! As soon as they found out we were living in Maine, they made plans to arrive a few days early so they could meet cute little old ME! As always with this family, we had a blast! Thanks for all of the great cars Oma and Opa!

Diggin' is cool

What better way to welcome spring than to help my great gramps in the garden? We had a great visit...saw all kinds of birds, huge turkey, deer and more. I got to ride Gramps' tractor for the first time and totally LOVED the barn. I picked up treasures during my walk with Grammy and couldn't wait to share them with Mama and Daddy. We had so much fun just around the house that we never even made it to Greenville! On the way home, I met my great-great Grandma Dot. Imagine that!
