Which way should we go?
It's fall in Maine! A few weekends ago we went to Treworgy's (the place where I usually feed the goats) and went apple picking, on my first hayride and played in the corn maze. I led the way in the maze and we found 3 out of 5 stations!

Fun in the Sun
Now this is the life. Fresh sea air and sand between my toes. Uncle Rob and Mama took me to Sand Beach (in Acadia) for the first time. I was completely and totally fascinated with the beach (hmmm...wonder where I get that from?). I've come a long way from refusing to get into my sandbox (Thanks Gamma!). Now you can't keep me out of it!
The "self-group portrait" doesn't work so well when [short] mama is taking the picture and [really tall] Uncle Rob is in the picture too. Oh yeah...and I have a HUGE blue hat covering my face. Ah well. We like it anyway!
Goosie Goosie Gander...
Surprise!!
Great Gram & Gramps were speechless when we walked in with Uncle Rob!! What a wonderful surprise! We had a great time hanging out and getting caught up, I mowed the lawn for Gramps and picked up all of the pine cones I could find...afterall, I had to work up my appetite for homemade pie EVERY NIGHT...Thank you Grammy!
My Uncle Rob
Gramps & the "double hook"
I still had not come down from the high of having Rara & Goff here when I found out my GRAMPS was coming to town. I talk to him all of the time but this was our first meeting. We hit it off immediately. He's a pretty cool Grandpa. Loves to play cars and trucks (and does if far better than Mama)...and he has this thing called the "Double hook" I just can't resist! I ask him to stop just long enough to catch my breath then request it again!
Rara, Goff, Croy, Hemy and Mana
Gosh. Where do I start? We've had such a great summer that it left little time to sit in front of the computer and update my blog. In late July my friends from Oregon (now Cali), Rozalyn & Jeff, came all the way to Maine to visit me (I mean, "US"). We had a blast! We went to 'camp' where I had my first ride in a canoe, kayak AND caught my first fish. I had so much fun that in the morning when Daddy came in to get me I tried to tell him "Dad, I really had a marvelous time at camp. Could we please go there again some time?". All he heard was "Camp fun go back". Then it was on to Acadia Nat'l park where we did the park loop and lingered at Thunderhole and Cadillac Mountain. As you can see, I'm Mr. Independent now and prefer to do the walking myself.
P.S. In case you hadn't picked up on it by now...the names in the title to this blog are how I say the following: Rozalyn, Jeff, Troy (dad), Henry, Amanda (mama).
