Fort Knox

Ah. Behind again...It's been a while since my last post. October brought my first trip to "The Castle" (that would be Fort Knox to you adults...). A very cool place to explore. Mama had been there years ago but the Penobscot Narrows Bridge & Observatory were new to her. What a view! You can read about it at http://fortknox.maineguide.com/

The Penobscot Narrows Observatory is apparently the first bridge observation tower in the US and is the tallest public bridge observatory in the world (so says wikipedia!). And I've been there! The tower reaches 420 feet into the air. Like I said, it's cool! Come visit us in Maine and I'll take you there! ;-)
